IMG client Venus Williams will join her sister Serena at the 2012 Olympics this year as they have been chosen to compete in the Women’s Doubles event in London. As a team, the sisters remain unbeaten in the doubles category and have previously captured two gold medals in the event.
Venus also plans on competing in the women’s singles event and hopes to add to her previous gold medal from the women’s singles competition in 2000. She is currently the only three-time gold medalist in U.S. tennis history and next month she will become the first American tennis player to compete in four Olympic games.
